getting fuel in car is a bum hole

is it just my car or when you go to get petrol its a pain in the bum cos the pump keeps cutting out etc or you have to wedge it in really hard or have it at funny angles.... anyone got an idea around it? it makes it really long to fill up lol

you sure its not the pump itself? Some cut out all the time or are slow etc.

no its every time some pumps are worse its like where the nozzle doesnt push the little flap back and the fuel cuts the fuel off...

but its varies with pumps i dont get why it does it..... would it be safe to remove the little flap?

What about twisting the pump handle/nozzle? Is it different on K11 to k11 facelift?

Mine does this all the time. I think its to do with the pressure. Some pumps (shell,total,sainsburys) cuts out all the time, but my other usual ones (tesco,asda,bp) dont.... Its strange

the old rubber vent hose on mine was kinked slightly when i took my tank out. replaced it with a thicker heater hose

Don't push the nozzle fully in. It's just splashing back and cutting the pump out
