Hello, I am hoping someone on here can give me some knowledgeable guidance. My g/f's Micra Equation CVT suddenly stopped sending drive to the wheels a few weeks ago. She was driving merrily along when there was a clunk and no more drive.
Research that I have done implies that if this means a whole new transmission then the Micra is heading only for the scrapyard. However, it might be this brush part. I thought I had found the correct part number for this but I am not sure and don't want to buy without knowing it is right. Does anyone know the part I mean and know the definite part number for it? I attach photos of where it is located and what it looks like once removed.
I also found a thread that implied it might be as simple as being the NCVT Fuse that was gone, does anyone know where this fuse might be located? I have not been able to find it in the manuals.
By the way, this is a 1999 Micra Equation Auto 1.0
Anyone that has any kind of guidance no matter how small please reply to this if you can spare a minute.
Thanks so much
