Hi my son has just bought his first car 2001 micra K11 1.0 Vibe, I have just been over the car and found that the O/S front brake caliper was binding so I removed it and freed the piston off by pushing it in with g-clamp and pumping it out. The 2 slide pins were both free and well greased, my problem is that I pulled both pins out without noticing that they are different this was due to the amount of grease on the pins it was only after cleaning the pins that I could see that 1 pin has a plastic bush fitted, is this fitted to the top or bottom of the caliper?
