bike transporting with a micra

yeah, our K12's bumpers don't have much guts do they...
...when transporting a bike I take the wheels off and put the seats down lol
I'll hazard a guess that won't work in your situation? :p

is there something you could fix to the "feet" of the rack so that it's weight/pressure is spread a bit and is softened to stop scratching? o_O

if you run your hand/fingers along the bumper at the point where it's sticks out the furthest you may be able to actually feel where the metal framework is directly behind the bumper
...you can actually see these points on my mums becasuse they slightly press the plastic out ans distort it
anyway, these points would be the best to rest the rack against, but I'm not sure if you'd be lucky enough for them to line up ... :(

I have an old Rhode gear like this:

It sits where the bumper and boot meet and then on the thick lip below the rear glass, it has 6 straps (top, bottom and sides) and i've had two DH and an XC bike comfortably on it. My rear number plate is velcro'd on so i can move it up when i put the rack on...

is there any way you can put the feet in a similar place? under the number plate at the bottom of teh bumper...?
