Brother is selling a part built Banham Spyder (Porsche 550 replica) kit car.

Rear engine-Rear wheel drive
Built off a Skoda Estelle chassis
Chassis modifications finished
Body is fitted.(Bonnet and doors need fitting, and back needs a locking mechanism) but the main body is fitted.
2 engines, one is in the car and DOES RUN. Other needs a rebuild but more powerful than the current one.
Full Ashley Competition exhaust
Custom hand made bucket seats
Custom hand made fuel tank for the front
Has wheels although may need a refurb

Needs front suspension re-fitting (been overhauled)
Needs steering hooking back up
Needs brakes finishing off
Needs electrics doing
Some interior trim is in such as transmission tunnel etc.
MOST trim needs doing, needs an SVA, TAX, MOT when complete, and spraying up.

Great project for somebody to have, brother will get photos when he gets in from work, and I'll post them up tomorrow.

Looking for around £2000 (bodywork alone cost that)

Have any questions feel free to ask :)

I'd love to take it off you, but lack of a garage prevents me :-(

doesn't look like it needs a great deal to get it finished really?? A little too much work for a novice like me tho sob sob

it needs hardly anything to be honest. Just brakes, steering, fuel lines, and suspension, interior trim that's it. Take it for it's SVA then get it painted :) and you have a stunning car, that will be fairly nippy.

I've only just joined the forum mate so when I click on his name it won't let me go in.
All forums are slightly different I know but I assume thats how I pm him?

I am very interested in this. We have a project on at the moment for "Twocers" in conjunction with the local Traffic Fuzz and this would be ideal. There's space in the workshop as we've just cleared out all the old rally cars and the 911!

Pmail me ASAP!

Yeah you'd click on his name and select "send Private Message" however as stated above, you'd need to be an official member to do this.
