Bloody hell,
This forum has taken off since i last was here.

Hi again msc!

Quick note: Ed, if possible, can i talk to you about resetting my old account (Jobe) to let me use that for posting again? Ive changed my email, from [email protected] to [email protected] so i cant retrieve and login as ive lost my old passwords >_<

Aneeways, the last time i was about was way back in 2005, my baby back then:

And since i was last here in 05, ive have had some touch-ups done to her:

Added some subleties like a sidebar and flared the arches/scoop a bit for aesthetics.

I was damn lucky to find 4 "almost-new" doors that even had the original visors on(the visors still not on her yet tho) and even managed to get a new ST trunk ordered in :)

Then she was stripped down of everything including her paint to bare frame, for some welding work to repair and strenghten the chassis.

This was followed by a proper paint job then a full seat/interior redesign/theme job.

Another major tweak were the suspension systems. Finding a decent set had always been a mix n match game, so i drove her to our capital state where a friend had reccomended me to custom a set of adjustables for her. Now she turns...pretty well!. Very happy with them :D ...The folks that did the custom for me was Titan Shocks. (http://www.titanshocks.com/)

Heres a mini Before-n-After-n-stuff album :)

Would love some feedback ;)

Now prolly be wanting to tweak the engine a bit (tho no complaints at the moment) but since im almost done with aesthetics, chassis and stability, some improvements in performance/reliability would seem the natural progression :)

Cheers all!

Very tidy mate - one of the more professional jobs i've seen on the March ST. The suspension looks very cool - was it quiet expensive to get made? Where about is it your from?

Thanks guys :)

@Titch:
Yeah, in local currencies they'd be quite pricey. With the mountings cost me just over Malaysian Ringgit 3K...around 450 Pounds if converted. I also had to drive more than 300 kilometres to their garage...So i was wondering if it was worth the effort and $ at first, but after testing them, all doubts are gone! :D

Oh, and im from Malaysia, btw :)

@moddedmicra
Thats the kit of the Nissan March Turbo, not ST. You can see it on the K10s that used the MA10ET engines. Kinna like the retro look it carries :) I lost my first grill soon after getting the car, and it was a good year or so before i happened across one in a chop shop here by chance.

The small number of the MA09ert in malaysia means there are less people playing around with this engine. This forum is by far the best ive found with enough people passionate enough to test and share information on their ventures :)

Ill be soon prodding the folks here for opinions of mods in the engine bay... after ive done a proper note on what kinda output and mods i wish to go with.

Peace!
;)

Thanks Micra 110.

@moddedmicra:
Yep. Its exactly the same bonnet(minus scoop)/headlamp as the pre-facelift. Only grill n bumper are different. Im pretty sure that grill would fit any pre-facelift, tho i havent tried it myself.

Oh, and got your facebook invite :) cheers man.
