I used to get it but no longer after all I currently i have a 1972 triumph and a 1983 mazda mot'ed insured taxed and on the road. Last mot it cost considerably less to get BOTH my cars through the mot than my dads 2004 citroen c3 :D (in fact the triumph didnt actually need anything)

police are taking quite an interest in non post 72 car wearing black plates apparently, on a '78 car you might get away with it 80 or 90's i dont think so. A mate recent got pulled because his '86 Porka 924 was wearing black plates.

Ford RS 4 spokes these are not very rare at all unless they are the deep dish ones (which those arnt) they dont seem to go for huge money: i seroiusly doubt you'd get any where near a grand
