Well £150 isnt bad at all then. My front bumper has been hit 3 times!! And the rear twice!! Btw... not any of them being my fault lol
And all hit and runs. I think its because my dads business is on a busy main road and theres lots of delivery turcks and vans and somebody is clipping my car...
I got a quote to get my front and rear bumper touched up abit, aligned back into place and sprayed... the guy quoted me £150.00... is that a decent price?
I think I have to agree with chris on this one. Plus the sticky ones mean added bulk to the car whereas these slot straight into the door frame... to be honest the deflectors can sit straight into the door frame without the clips even needed. Ive taken mine out :) and it works much better!
If...
I finally found out why they rattle and made so much noise. Luckily one of my mates who had a golf said that wind deflectors are designed to make your journeys more quiet lol :) which is a fair point so once he suggested I adjust the metal props they have been perfectomundo (y)
One major piece of advice for deflectors! The metal props which are placed into the window frames need to be made thinner because they are too wide. This can be done with some pliers.
They cause the frame of the window to be widened which causes 3 problems;
1) at 50mph+ it lets too much air...
A thing to add with the wind deflectors... at high speeds. 60mph and above it makes a sound as though a small part of the window is open and letting air in. I think this noise is because wind is being pushed into the corner of the deflectors.
Also because the deflectors fit into the inside of...
Just been for my recall the other day. The benefit of going was to obviously sort out the problem. But they also do a free health check and clean your car too.
For me the health check was the benficial part because there were a couple of major problems to sort and I got them done this morning. :)
There simple to install... the instructions are really easy to follow too. All u will need is a straight head screwdriver to push the window clips in. 5 minute job bro! :)

can't wait to change over my passenger side headlight and tint the outsides of the headlights too. Im going to try give the headlights a tinted eyelid headlight effect. ;)
The tint spray does effect your reflectors if you go too dark but the indicators, rear lights, brake lights, side repeaters etc. all shine through perfectly. I recommend tinting the outside of the lights really dark but slight tints on the inside so you can still see the reflectors.
Ive just...
Just make sure you clean your lights thoroughly. Apply one thick coat to the edges and then keep applying thin coats on the rest. But between coats wait at least 10 minutes. I used the same technique as if I was PLASTIDIPPING... hope that helps too... :)
