I have these Orange indicators from a Datsun Micra that are attached (but non-functioning) to a later car I am breaking.
Since they replace the side-lights Im guessing that the Datsun must have had its sidelights elsewhere?
Anyone know where the side lights were on a Datsun Micra? Built...
Looks like fun.
Whats suspension and tyres were you running? How did you find it handles on the limit? Understeer? Any lift off oversteer?
Im prepareing a normal micra for trackdays and am hoping that its lightweight nimbleness will be a big advantage in the corners, so I dont embaress...
The ends will always be sharp, The end fitting should cover them up.
Make sure you clean the swarf out of the hose after cutting.
Oil hose will be quite difficult to cut, most places that supply it can cut it for you.
You will need to wrap the hose in tape and then either use a very fine hacksaw blade or a dremel type cut-off tool. Stainless braid is very sharp, so wear thick gloves.
What type of hose is it? Brake?
I've repaired/rebuilt the mounts on my car using polyurenthane body adhesive/sealant. Something like tigerseal or sikaflex does the job and comes in useful for all sorts of things in general. For example sticking fingers to bumpers, sticking fingers to windows, sticking fingers to other fingers...

Although the gear ratios are the same, I think the final drive ratio is different between the 4 and 5 speed box. This will make the overall ratios different. If you see what I mean?
I cant remember off the top of my head, but is the timing belt tooth profile the same 1.0 <> 1.2 ? If not the pully on the pump will be wrong and im not sure if they can be changed.
Wanted:
A set (at least 4) of 14" Steel wheels from a K11, not bothered about the tyres.
Would be best if they were in the South, London/Berkshire area.
Thanks
Well, it allows the gases out and it hasent fallen off yet, but it doesnt seem to have made any difference to the power output. Anoys the neighbours though.
I dont think that would work.
The only way to be sure of course, would be to flow test the box and make modifications flow testing after each stage.
But if I were going to guess id say the main restriction seems to be the small holes the the gas has to escape from out of the pipe on the...
As far as I know there are no off the shelf exhausts available for the K10, but im probably the wrong person to ask.
Dont under estimate the bean can. My mates Nissan Stanza Skyline (not as impresive as it sounds) got through two MOT's with an exhaust held together with a tin of Wadworth 6X...
