Petrol smell is unburnt fuel, the smell after driving on freeway....when I slow down, but I can only smell it if I have the window open otherwise cant ssmell anything..

Hi everyone, I have owned a micra for 2 weeks now.... I get a petrol smell sometimes, I have checked for any leaks on the motor, all doors and seals, but no sign of anything. Is this a common fault?
