Is it a deisel? If so they can get messy when filling up. I know that my mate uses a Glove when he fills up his truck so his hands stay clean. This could be a similar problem because of the bigger tank. Could be a pressure release due to the deisel and the size of the tank?

I have just replaced two engine mounts and the other two seemed to be ok. Do you think that the drive shafts may not be correctly positiond into the gearbox? Have you had this problem before and is this a common thing to look out for?
