    Great news for Sri Lankan Micra Owners

    Hi Guys, There is guy who repairs the EPS unit, in Maharagama area. He says, it's better to do the repair at first instance you hear the rack noice. No new parts need to replace, but there is some lathe work. I will post more details and may be picturs, after we get one of my firend's car repaired.

    i used fb13 boss kit. i think it's same as S13. now the air bag indicator is blinking full time. didn't try to ground any wires as I do not not which one exactly.

    Same problem was there in a Nissan FB15, and got it fixed by replacing the Cam angle sensor and the Air Flow sensor.

    lucky me... being in Sri Lanka no problem of finding Japanese car parts. We have Japanese used car parts of any Japanese vehicle. Also the prices are very low. CG13DE engine can be bought around Rs.14,000- (USD 140) :)

    year 2000 K-11 communication interface and protocol

    yes... that is the normal consult I interface. My car is a Japanese used Micra (March). Anyone else has this type of a OBD style connector?

    This is the connector I got in my year 2000 Micra. Although the connector style is OBD II, the pinout is not falling in to any OBD II standards. Is this Consult II or something?

    PLMS interface did not work for K11. K11 has the OBD II style connecter while PLMS is for Consult type connecter. Has anyone tried to communicate with K11 through a home made board?

    for manuals, it is useful to set the shift light at peek power point or you could set in a lower point for city running.

    yes. It's a good itea to use the shift light as a peak rev guide for an automatic transmission car.
