Slightly different shade of red but they'll do for now, bumpers need respraying anyway
Also I refurbed ox11ey's alloys but I'm not gonna steal his thunder by posting pics......he can do that ;)

WDIDT?
I swapped mine and my mums cars around, so that the flex could reach.
...pulled out all my mats, pushed all the seats forward...and attacked it with the vacuum cleaner ^_^
also scrubbed the mats before replacing them in the footwells...now the Superman logos are yellow and red instead of varying shades of brown :p

WAIGTDT?

I am going to check with these rust area. I am going to try my best to fix ghetto DIY. Pictures will be upload soon when I done my job. It's so sad man :(

Wdid? Foglights :D

Not wired in yet, can't find a stalk for love nor money so I'm gonna just wire them to a switch, probably at the weekend, so they can be operated independently ;)

You're not one of these douchers who insist on having their sidelights only and turn their fogs on?

Sent from my GT-I9100 using Forum Runner

WDIDT? Cleaned pollen filter and fitted A pioneer speaker to my driver side door. Got sick of the window handle pin so I'm leaving the passenger side for another day :p

Wdid? picked up my new wheels, one of them is egg shaped so has been dropped at an alloy wheel shop to be straightened, the others are gonna be cleaned, tyred up properly and fitted soon :)

You would not BELIEVE the grip with 205 width tyres!!! (i drove home on them before i noticed the eggwheel)

Finished my Induction kit, now to fit it on saturday :D

Also CBA removing battery/expansion tank to get at the bolt that holds the intake pipe on so just gonna cut it :D

Ill grabs some pics when its done

Coilies on the front, looks awesome with the new wheels too, just need the fourth one back!
Will post photos later as I can't from my phone :(

Had its first minor problem ): was about to turn a corner and it just completely died. It turned over but wouldn't start and there was a warning light on (idk what it's for though) but then a minute later it started up fine :\

Wdid: got a text off my dad saying I can have his car at the end of the month, so do I try to save the vibe or stick with the plan of scrapping it

WDID? got Rocky an oil and filter change on the way home from work as i really couldnt be arsed to roll around on the floor in the rain over the weekend! and only £37.50 :D

It's actually a really nice car to drive, not as nice as the c3 Picasso I was using a couple of years back but close.

I must admit I am tempted to try and get it to pass but it's all about the money, £140 for a new windscreen which it definitely needs

the windscreen not covered by your insurance? is it chipped or cracked?

Nope and I wouldn't claim anyway as some companies like to take your no claims for it

Possibly, I think she was just in one of those moods :p the warning light looked like a fuse or a catalytic converter shape with wiggly lines above it. Do you know what this means, I can't find anything for it?

Didn't it have this fault a while ago? If its a cat problem I have a spare main cat if you want

Wdid? This :D with photos!

Put these:

on Nigel and wend down from 50 ish drop to this:

IMAG0106_zps900cda84.jpg

and once theyre all repaired i will be running this:
IMAG0107_zpsb115caf4.jpg

With (on two wheels at least) tyres as wide as this (thinner one is the current 185 tyre):
IMAG0108_zps76f52b8d.jpg

End result so far (all 4 coilies) looks like this (but the front is now 10mm lower after i wound them down some more (rear is already fully dropped so only option there would be removal of helper springs):
IMAG0110_zpsc65ac680.jpg

IMAG0109_zps01327d38.jpg

Right now for the "things to do next" bit.
1) Theres more camber (noticeably) on the left hand front so i need to get tracking etc sorted and then weld a washer on to hold it solid.
2) The rear coilovers, as far as i can tell both of them(more the left one though), rub on the car on the inside edge (grr) so anyone else using polo rears got any tips?? I dont know what they were like on their last micra as i never saw them fitted.
3) Once the sexy wheels are ready to fit i will need spacers (only small ones) on the front to stop them rubbing the side guard plastic (even my 14's do it now, must be the camber)

Anyway thats it for todays work :) i'm tired!!

Lower!!!! ;)

Panhard rod
Thats the plan (getting one off noddie) but if theyre rubbing both sides i'll need more drastic action :s will unhook the panhard tomorrow and see whats what.

Lower!!!! ;)
It is lower than that now, only by another 10mm though, i still need to have cornering ability! Also the rears are fully wound down and thats where they sit, only option there would be losing the helper springs (but then living ON the bumpstop)
