Project mikey

Thanks for all the positive input guys... Just waiting to get paid next for the tryes

Alittle update on Mikey

Fitted a wheel on the front to see how much poke I would have to deal with...









Im actually suprised how much it doesn't stick out from the rears so possibly going for some 155's all round maybe?

Also did abit of tidying up on the front arches while I had the wheels off.....

Cleaned and stone chipped, so they should last that little bit longer :)





Painted the calipers silver too..... Looks 100% better IMO :cool:



Finally gave him a good wash/wax/polish too :D

actually prefere your micra to that s14!!!!

cant wait to see the wheels on, 155s may not seal on them though :S

Nice work... Never been a fan of white cars in general but this is sweet... Few nice white Micras on here actually... Got me on the look out for a white Super S me thinks?
 
Everyone will hate me for bumping this and giving them false hope but any updates yet? Did you get your tyres ok? Are they fitted and on?...

We're all itching to see!

Woow! Thanks a lot :)

I have ordered the tyres(Maxxis 155/60/r15) from my local garage which will be fitting them next Thursday but.....

I might only show a teaser for you lot on here until after japfest or I'll be picture whoring them, I'm not sure which one to choose yet lol

Presumably you take the caliper off and apart to spray it? Wanna do mine... Also, for the stone chip do you take everything out and do it or paint it with everything in situ... bar the wheels obv...

Can't wait to see the new hoops with some rubber on and on the car! I know come Thursday theres gonna be alot of people online waiting for pics!

No pressure like... :p

Nope I didn't take the caliper off I just painted with a brush bud

For the stone chip, just cover your suspension with newspaper or anything you have, But don't spray to much on one place or it may crack the surface :)

I'm going to get some proper shots done when there on but I'm going to have the joys of setting the collies again
 
Tomorrow's the big day for Mikey and me plus you lot on here!

I'll put some pics of the wheels with rubber on, On here, Me personally won't even see the wheels until friday or saturday to fit them to the car :(

Hey guys,

Heres what you all have be waiting for.

The only picture I've got so far, It's not the best but you get the idea :D



The one you see here they actaully fitted properly but they couldn't fit the last 3, So they went for the tyre + hairspray/lynx and a naked flame. Most of you would of heard of the method but heres a link how its done.



More pics should be up tomorrow of the full set, Atleast you get to see it :)

Tell me what you think, Personally I love it!

Personally I'm not a fan of uber stretched tyres but it's obviously necessary on the Micra due to the offset of the wheels. I have total faith you're gonna pull it off really well.

Okay I've got them fitted now lol But im to busy atm with editing pictures from today at Castle Combe

So tomorrow I'll upload some on her of Mikey, Sounds good? :)

Hey people

Alittle update and some pics

My friend fitted my adjustable panhard rod yesterday, It was A b**ch



Get one side off was easy but the other sides rubber didnt want to come off

We ended heating the thing and turnt out like this :)



So here it is, My lovely panhard rod :D



BTW heres my mates Anglia, So tidy!!

very nice, although i do feel the 155s would look better in 165 format :D but thats just being pikey, it looks cool as flip!!

fancy selling the caps of your original steels :D
