main earth lead from battery

just found out that my main earth cable from the battery is loose and hangin around the engine bay, how it got like this ive no idea.

so does neone no where this lead actually goes if so can anyone supply a picture thnx

The lead goes from the battery to the chassis then usually to one of the bolts on the startermotor.

the only way i can think of this happening is i had a new clutch fited bout a week ago and they musnt hav reconnected it properly.
mum is going mad cos i just fitted the ice and she thinks iv blown the cr up!!

I was scratching my end a bit last year when i replaced my clutch - a cable with three points confused the hell out of me!

lucky i made a guess and guessed right!
