i was wondering is there a line in on the back of the player to hook up a portable mp3 player? i have a smart and i once bought a specially made cable that looks like this:

[i think the slot was normally used for an external multi-disc player]

any ideas? fwn

Welcome to the MSC

Im not too clued up when it comes to K12 head units, but there maybe an AUX port on the front/back you could connect the cable to?

I know some head units like that in other cars do

the girlfriend just bought the micra - haven't had a good look at the unit yet, as we're only picking up the car today!

sorry mate, it doesn't, the best thing to do is get an FM modulator that you tune into the radio.

or install an after market HU...

hiya mate im sure its been done before...

can you get a pic of the back of the stereo, and the manufacturer and model number...

you might have to make the cable yourself depents how confident you are...

fm modulator is the simplest, quickest problem solve...
