Uprated Altonator

What uprated altonators have people fitted to there micra k10's?

thinking of upgradeing because of current drop when the subs working lol lights dimming to the beat

go for a deisel altonator
dont know if they done a k10 deisel u maybe able to get one off another car

Diesels dont have especially larger alternators. Goto a scrappie and find an alternator that looks similar to the one you have on the way it mounts etc, they usually all have written on them what they are (powerwise) . then fit it and run NEW wires to the battery. Expect the engine to idle lower under load however, also consider fitting a new battery.
