It might be big, but its not actually 'that' good, it just weighs a ton.

a mate had two 12" XXX subs in his corsa,,,,very loud and expensive too

That is so utterly pointless!! Of course anyone who spent that much money on a speaker wouldnt agree... I would love to see its efficiency specs....
