Worst mod?

I was just wondering what everyone's worst mod was, the mod you did and immediately thought 'I wish I hadn't done that.'
Just to get an idea of good/ bad ideas.

spraying my red grill black, on my red micra, then i sprayed it back to red, because it looked ****! lol :P

never got put on the car, but i tried smoothing the door handles down...after ages cutting stuff up and fibre glassing it back together and sanding etc etc, i took one look and thought "why the hell did i bother" lol.

my graphics...... should have done a re-spray before anything like that... but waddaya gonna do..

and possible the 14" alloys...... lasted all of 5 minutes before buying the ROTA's

single wiper mod was the worst thing i have ever done to the car, also iam bad with stickers, i.e brought two rising sun stickers from a car show put them on and took them off, was only on the car for about 20min!

Sticking a silver bodykit on my k10 was the worst car thing i´ve done. Soon had that removed & sprayed!

Hand painting my Escort Van with black smoothrite because I didn't like the colour it was!
I'm talking about a Mk2 1976 P Reg Van, I had at college back in 1988...

It was well ahead of it's time..it was lime green..not my choice of colour.

Smoothrite runs like a ######, and doesn't rub down to well.
You live and learn.........well err, no actually...

I hand sprayed a Capri black, expecting a lovely gloss finish...except you don't get much of a shine with Black Satin paint!!
I'd blown my budget on paint and couldn't afford the laquer I would need to make it shiny. So it stayed like it..
Looked like a stealth bomber.. with streaks.

Oh and I put a 2.0 twin choke carb and inlet on the 1.6 I had, didn't re-jet it..just scratched my head a lot..trying to figure out why it was using so much fuel...

My worst mod? Putting Pink Diamonte dust caps on my husbands car. I thought he was going to kill me. :doh:

not my worst mod but recently a K10 has arrived at Trowbridge scrayyard, which is handpainted purple with black spots stuck all over it. Someone on here please own up 2 that one!
